We will focus on different ideas from Contact Improvisation:flow, working with skin, fascia, body structuring, elements from dance technique, working with muscles and muscle tone. Lead by Violetta (Ukraine).
Our dance depends on the quality of our attention. How much information can our body read simultaneously? Can we expand this capability?
Working with the body, we need to warm it up not only physically, but also warm up perception, vision of possibilities and details.
By dancing with different ideas, we can discover different sides of the dance.
Dancing softly, working with the skin, we create a soft and sensitive dance. By working with the muscles, our dance becomes more physical, strong, bold. Working with technology allows us to be free and fearless, as we know how to get out of different situations and stay alive)
This workshop will focus on different ideas from Contact Improvisation (flow, working with skin, fascia, body structuring, elements from dance technique, working with muscles and muscle tone) which, in combination with each other, give us more opportunities, more surprise and joy from the process. .
We will zoom in on these ideas and open them up in more detail and depth.
I love being surprised and inspired by the process. Feel life in dance and harmony. And this surprise happens when we are open and when we are ready to move on, when we play, when we are free. And by working with attention to different aspects of the dance, we can gain this freedom and the ability to be surprised.
